Large Format Inkjet printing is similar to desktop inkjets printing. They both uses substrates fed via a roll which is generally wider than 914mm and variable in length. There is a wide range of applications such as signage, point of sale, posters, signs or banners etc. Large format inkjet printing can help to open up new markets for wide format printing industries.

Due to the rapidly progressed in inkjet technology, the most recent series of large format inkjet printers are producing quality higher than even the most perceptive eye could differentiate from photographic to continuous tone technology, at a fraction of the cost. Large format inkjet printing is available up to 72" wide by 150' long at 600 DPI.

Large format inkjet printing is the most proficient production process, using either pigmented inks for short term outdoor or eco-solvent inks for longer term outdoor durability.  Large format inkjet printing is starting to replace more traditional methods and is being used for multiple purposes.
